Toolbench

For Christmas my middle boy really wanted a tool bench. I looked at the toy ones and they didn't look very sturdy. So I decided to make one. I found a nightstand at the D.I. (thrift store) for $8.

I sanded it down & Stained the top. I then primed the rest of it and painted it blue. I bought some peg board and a 1x2. I decided to cut the 1x2 longer and attach it down the back to make it more sturdy. I also replaced the hardware.

Santa was a huge hit with my little boy this year. and he has been doing a lot of his own projects since then.
